Schedule a School Tour

Call the registrar at (970) 488-7705 to schedule a school tour.

Registering at Putnam

  • All new students to PSD must register online.
  • Students transferring within the District should initiate a transfer at their current school and then notify the registrar at Putnam. 

Bell Times

  • 8:25am - 3:08pm
  • Doors open at 8:10am
  • If your student arrives after 8:25am, please check them in at the front office. 

Transportation/Bussing

  • You must apply for bussing every year if your student requires transportation to and from school.
  • Find out if you are eligible for bussing here.

Student Meals

  • Breakfast and lunch are free for all students in Poudre School District. However, regardless of income, we strongly encourage families to fill out the Free and Reduced Meal Form. This form helps Putnam receive extra funding. Qualifying families are eligible for extra discounts including reduced Amazon Prime memberships, $20 Connexion internet, summer EBT benefits, discounted/waived school fees, and much more.

Reporting Student Absences

  • Please report a student absence by phone call, email, or in ParentVUE before the beginning of the school day. Find out how to report an absence on ParentVUE. This is the recommended way to report student absences.
  • School staff will try multiple times in multiple ways to contact a parent or guardian if we're unable to confirm receipt of an absence message. A home visit may be considered if there are multiple days of no contact from parents or guardians.
